Meet our Guest Speakers

Batjin Boldbat

Founding Director | Tomujin Enterprises | Ulaanbaatar

Batjin Boldbat is the founder and director of Tomujin Enterprises based in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. Batjin holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and French Cultural Studies from Williams College. He is fluent in English, Mongolian, and French. After graduating college Batjin returned to Mongolia to start Tomujin Enterprises which consists of Tomujin Academy, Tomujin Digital, and Tomujin Alternative high school. 

Tomujin Academy is an education NGO that has the goal of flooding the top American universities with Mongolian students. Tomujin Digital is focused on creating a technology system that helps, educates, and prepares people to live a fulfilled life. Lastly, Tomujin Alternative high school uses Project-Based Learning (PBL) model to empower students to be creative, independent, and nourish in changing the world for the better. Tomujin Enterprises has worked closely with dedicated educators, counselors, and administrators to help aspiring Mongolian students achieve their goals.

Founder & Director | Khadaan Cosmetics | Los Angeles

Oyuntsetseg (Oyu) is the Founder and Director of Khadaan Cosmetics, a skincare and makeup brand started in 2016 that is produced in the United States in accordance with European standards for Mongolian women. With no added chemicals and eco-friendly ingredients, the brand sets itself apart from others while staying environmentally responsible. Oyu graduated from the University of Humanities with a Journalism degree and previously worked as a Project Officer at the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies. Upon coming to the United States, she spent two years researching and studying the skincare and cosmetics industry, labs, and products to ultimately start Khadaan Cosmetics in December of 2016. Having sensitive, reaction-prone skin herself, Oyu’s main purpose of starting her brand is to provide other Mongolian women like herself with natural, gentle skincare products and high-quality makeup products made in the States, in addition to becoming a successfully known Mongolian brand worldwide.

Founder & CEO | UR Mine | Ulaanbaatar

Uyanga founded “UR Mine”, a children’s clothing brand in November of 2017, inspired by and dedicated to her oldest son. The brand got exposure to the public through its successful participation in “Shark Tank Mongolia” Season 2 and prides itself in Mongolian culture and origin. UR Mine’s mission is to create happy, loving memories in Mongolian families through children’s clothing and matching family sets, and currently sells through 4 locations in UB, 4 locations in the countrysides, and 2 online platforms.

Uyanga holds a Bachelor’s degree in Land surveying from the National University of Mongolia and MS in Biotechnology with a focus on plant-based renewable energy from the Mongolian University of Life Sciences. She started her career in banking and continued to study marketing management while working in various business fields. She has 4 years of experience in banking/finance and 1 year experience in Small to Mid Business consulting, ultimately leading to her current role as CEO of “Ekhiin Setgeleer Urlav” (Made with Mother’s love) LLC.
